Southerly winds have begun to increase in strength late this evening. Some gusts of 35-45 mph will be possible tonight through the early morning hours. Be cautious if driving, especially on east-to-west oriented roads.

Dorothy Kahlig
Dorothy Kahlig, 82, 5065 Gause Road, Coldwater, died at 3:12 a.m. Sept. 20, 2009, at her residence.
She was born Nov. 1, 1926, in New Bremen to Adam and Josephine Schulze Schwartz. On June 18, 1949, she married Ralph Kahlig, who died May 9, 1999.
Surviving are seven sons, Ken (Betty) Kahlig, Celina, Steve (Diana) Kahlig, Dale (Carla) Kahlig, Dan (Shelia) Kahlig and Leonard (Gayle) Kahlig, all of Coldwater, Virgil Kahlig, Portland, Ind., and Eric (Teresa) Kahlig, Columbus; four daughters, Linda Darr, Prescott, Ariz., Jane (Jack) Byer and Diane (Chip) Otten, all of Coldwater, and Carol (Ken) Schmitmeyer, Chickasaw; a daughter-in-law, Marilyn Kahlig, Coldwater; a brother, Leo (Esther) Schwartz, New Bremen; three brothers-in-law, Greg Kahlig, Fort Recovery, George Kahlig and Howard Huwer, both of Coldwater; five sisters-in-law, Louise Schwartz, St. Marys, and Catherine Bruggeman, Mary (Bernard) Siefring, Margaret Klosterman and Delores, Kahlig, all of Coldwater; 37 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a son, Frank Kahlig; six brothers, Ray, Albert, Joe, Norbert, Larry and Louie; two sisters, Henrietta Wente and Clara Schwartz; and two grandchildren.
She worked in the cafeteria at Coldwater Exempted Village Schools and was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and its St. Ann's Rosary Altar Sodality, Coldwater.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. Barry Stechschulte officiating. Burial is at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9-10 a.m. Thursday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
