Susan K. Myers-Nearon
Former Fort Recovery resident Susan K. Myers-Nearon, 63, 3630 state Route 66, Houston, died at 1:17 p.m. Sept. 18, 2009, at Wilson Memorial Hospital, Sidney. Death was due to an apparent heart attack.
She was born Oct. 25, 1945, in Decatur, Ind., to Lloyd and Bernadetta Eley Reynolds. On Oct. 14, 1989, she married Dave Nearon, who survives.
Other survivors are a daughter, Denise Hampshire, Avon, Ind.; a son, Scott (Brandy) Myers, Houston; two sisters, Cassie Haines, Berne, Ind., and Lynette (Ray) Kirchner, Decatur; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two daughters, Danielle Bulmahn and Kelly Myers; and a brother, Michael Myers.
She worked at Accord Financial Group, Covington. She was a 1964 graduate of Decatur High School and earned an associate degree at Wright State University. She was a member of Psi Lota Xi and Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, both of Fort Recovery, and St. Paul Lutheran Church, Willowdell.
Services are 2 p.m. Tuesday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, the Rev. Laura Sheffer officiating. Burial is at Spring Hill Cemetery, Fort Recovery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. today and 12:30 p.m. Tuesday until time of services at the funeral home.
