A 22-year-old Celina man faces felony charges stemming from an apparent case of shaken baby syndrome.
Shane A. Schindler, 433 E. Livingston St., appeared in Celina Municipal Court this week on charges of felonious assault and child endangering. A preliminary hearing is scheduled Feb. 16 to determine whether there is sufficient evidence to present the case to grand jurors. [More]

COLDWATER - One of the main keys of basketball is rebounding.
It was rebounding that was the bane of St. Henry's play on Thursday night in Midwest Athletic Conference play against Coldwater.
The Cavaliers were able to get second and sometimes third chances at the basket, which mixed in with 20 Redskins turnovers, allowed Coldwater to pick up its 10th win of the season with a 56-44 triumph over rival St. Henry at The Palace. [More]

Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Coldwater will offer a Sunday evening Mass each week beginning Feb. 21.
The Mass, which will fulfill the Sunday obligation, will take place at 6 p.m. and have a focus on youth, said the Rev. Rick Walling, senior pastor of Holy Trinity and two other parishes in the Coldwater cluster of Catholic churches. [More]
