* Flash Flood Warning for... Northwestern Auglaize County in west central Ohio... Mercer County in west central Ohio...
* Until 900 AM EDT.
* At 606 AM EDT, radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
* Some locations that may experience flash flooding include... Celina, St. Marys, Coldwater, New Bremen, Rockford, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Tama, Neptune, Carthagena, Bulkhead, State Route 116 at State Route 197, Chattanooga and Kossuth.

* WHERE...Portions of central and west central Ohio, including the following counties, in central Ohio, Delaware, Franklin, Licking, Madison and Union. In west central Ohio, Auglaize, Champaign, Clark, Darke, Hardin, Logan, Mercer, Miami and Shelby.
* WHEN...Until 2 PM EDT this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms will move across parts of the area this morning, possibly extending into early afternoon. This may result in bands of heavier rainfall that could lead to flash flooding.

Ralph Siegel
Ralph E. Siegel, 58, Minster, died Feb. 27, 2011, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton.
He was born Sept. 14, 1952, in Sidney to Clarence and Hilda Hole Siegel. On Oct. 5, 1979, he married Susanna Fiely, who survives.
Also surviving is a daughter, Tammy (Michael) DeVall, Coldwater; a sister, June (Russ) Seger, Fort Loramie; three stepgrandchildren and two stepgreat-grandchildren.
He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Minster, where he also was a Eucharistic minister. He was a member of the Knights of St. John Uniform Rank in Maria Stein, the Celina Veterans of Foreign Wars, Minster Area Life Squad and the Mercer County Disaster Service Association.
Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Rick Nieberding officiating. Burial is at St. Francis Cemetery in Cranberry Prairie.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-9:30 a.m. Friday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Minster.
Memorials may be made to the Minster Area Life Squad or to a charity of the donor's choice.
