Light snow will overspread the area from the northwest this morning. An increased coverage of snow showers is expected to develop this afternoon into the evening hours. Slick spots may develop on roads tonight as temperatures drop and northwest winds gust up to 30 mph. Coverage of snow showers is expected to decrease overnight before ending Monday morning. Most the area will see an accumulation of 1 to 2 inches. Locally higher amounts are possible in areas where heavier snow bands develop this afternoon into early evening.
Roadways may become slick. If traveling, be alert, slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.

Edward Tobin
Edward L. Tobin, 80, Celina, died at 9:30 a.m. May 10, 2014, at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton.
He was born Jan. 23, 1934, in Montezuma, to LeRoy P. and Mary Elizabeth Mowery Tobin. His first wife, Luella Tobin, survives in St. Marys. On July 14, 1979, he married Sherry Bates Swygart Tobin, who survives in Celina.
Other survivors are sons, Ed (Peg) Tobin Jr., Murfreesboro, Tenn., Andrew Tobin, Marysville, Anthony (Susan) Tobin, North Port, Fla., Daniel Tobin, St. Marys, Timothy (Ann) Tobin, Virginia Beach, Va., Dennis (Lisa) Tobin, St. Marys, and Charles Tobin, St. Marys; daughters, Pat (Jim) Hubbard, Lima, Elizabeth (Kelly) Houseworth, New Bremen, and Tara (Tom) Mallory, Celina; stepchildren, David (Jean) Swygart, North Carolina, Pam Haffey, Celina, Randy Swygart, Mendon, and Susan (Jeff) Reohm, Willshire; a sister, Betty (Richard) Dickerson, Montezuma; 35 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
He was a 1952 graduate of Celina High School. He was a supervisor at New Idea, sold insurance for 30 years, sold real estate, worked at St. Marys hospital for 26 years, served as the mayor of Mendon, and worked at Community Hospital. He was a member of Living Hope Assembly of God, St. Marys, and Coldwater American Legion. He was active in The Gideons International in 1980 and was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Randy McKinney officiating. Burial is at Burge Cemetery, Montezuma.
Calling is 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
