Gov. Kasich plugs local area at ribbon cutting

CELINA - They came, they saw, they stayed.
That's how plumbing supply giant Ferguson Enterprises chose to invest more than $15 million in a distribution center east of Celina, according to Ohio Gov. John Kasich.
"The community sold itself and here they (Ferguson) are," he told The Daily Standard following an official ribbon cutting ceremony Wednesday afternoon at the new 350,000-square-foot facility. [More]

2014 State Track and Field Preview
This weekend's state track meet at Jesse Owens Stadium in Columbus will feature 23 girls and 19 boys from the area. Minster will be sending more participants than any other school in the state, with 22 members of the Wildcat track teams participating.
The 15th annual Van Wert County Hospital All-Star Football Game will be held June 13 at Eggerss Stadium in Van Wert starting at 7:30 p.m. The game pits the senior all-stars from the Western Buckeye League against recent graduates from Northwest Conference and Lima-area based schools.
Coldwater, St. Henry and Fort Recovery were well represented when the Ohio High School Baseball Coaches Association released its All-Ohio selections.
