* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, Union and Wayne, Kentucky, including the following counties, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton and Robertson, and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.

Evelyn Alig
Evelyn E. Alig, age 95, Portland, IN, died on October 14, 2016, at Adams Memorial Hospital, Decatur, IN.
She was born May 12, 1921, in Darke County, OH, to the late Felix and Amanda (Smith) Barga. On April 29, 1944, in Frenchtown, OH, she married the late Jerome Alig, who died June 20, 2012.
Surviving are her four children, James (Judy) Alig of Bryant, IN, Robert Alig (Rebecca Booher) of Geneva, IN, Joann (Mark) Heitkamp of New Bremen, OH and David (Teresa) Alig of Portland, IN; 12 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Levadia Barga of Versailles, OH; in-laws, Dorothy Hein of Montezuma, OH, Dick (Jeanette) Alig of Coldwater, OH, Rosemary Heitkamp of Coldwater, OH and Marceil Alig of Portland, IN.
Evelyn was the last surviving member of her immediate family and was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Mike and Randy Alig; and her brothers and sister, Ralph, Lowell, Virgil, Alton and John Barga and Mary Kaiser.
Evelyn was formerly employed at Jay Garment, Portland, IN. Her favorite past time was playing cards.
She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, St. Anthony, Ohio.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, St. Anthony, with Fr. Timothy Ralston officiating. Burial will follow at St. Anthony Cemetery.
Calling is 2:00 pm-8:00 pm Monday and 9:00 am-9:45 am Tuesday at Brockman - Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, Ohio.
