William Woeste
William J. Woeste, age 91, of Coldwater, died Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Briarwood Village in Coldwater.
He was born March 11, 1925 in Coldwater to the late Vincent H. & Catherine (Krieger) Woeste. On June 7, 1947 he married Mary E. (Keller) and she survives in Coldwater.
He is also survived by four sons: Carl Woeste of Coldwater, Kenneth & Linda Woeste of Celina, Paul & Yoli Woeste of Coldwater and Ronald & Lori Woeste of Coldwater; 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; a sister Mary Kaup of Coldwater and sister-in-law Rita Keller of Dayton.
He is preceded in death by a son James, who died in 1962 at the age of 5, daughters-in-law Joan Woeste and Irene Borgerding-Woeste, a brother Richard & Irene Woeste and in laws: Romie Kaup, Ed & Rita Keller, Alvin & Mary Keller, Raymond Keller, Mildred & Louis Bolton Bill & Esther Keller, Dorothy & Russell Derth, Robert & Francis Keller and Paul & Berdella Keller.
He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Coldwater, the Men's Holy Name Society of the church, Coldwater Eagles and Coldwater American Legion. Bill served in the US Navy and he retired from Coldwater Machine.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 am Tuesday October 18, 2016 at the Holy Trinity Church, Coldwater. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 pm on Monday and 9 to 10 am on Tuesday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.
Memorials may be made to State of the Heart Hospice Care.
