Kay Teeters
Kay Teeters, 69, Saint Marys, died 7:50 P.M. Friday, December 23, 2016, at Saint Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
She was born December 11, 1947, in Lima, the daughter of Albert and Ann (Pepple) Prueter. She married Richard Teeters on April 26, 1970, and he survives at the residence.
She is also survived by her son, Matthew Teeters of Saint Marys; by her brother, Kyle (Ann) Prueter of Perrysburg, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Kay was a graduate of Saint Marys Memorial High School and The Ohio State University. She was a Special Education teacher for the Saint Marys City Schools, and was currently serving at West Intermediate School in Saint Marys. She was a 4-H Adviser for the Pin Cushion Pals Club. She was an excellent seamstress, and she loved crafting with her husband, Richard.
She was a member of the Wayne Street United Methodist Church in Saint Marys.
Funeral rites will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, December 29, 2016, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys. Burial will follow at Willow Branch Cemetery, Waynesfield.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home, where memorial gifts may be given to Auglaize County 4-H. Condolences may be sent to Kay's family via Millerfuneralhomes.net.
