She was born on March 23, 1926 in Batavia, IL., to the late Arthur and Edith (Petersen) Read.
Survivors include her children: Jeffrey (Susan) Ingraham of Celina, OH., Lynn Mae (Robert) Myers of Georgetown, KY., Bethany R. She maintained her membership at the First Christian Church in Newton Falls, OH.
Lois most enjoyed being a homemaker, a mom, a grandmother, and a friend. She was talented at sewing and crocheting and created numerous cherished gifts for her family. She always had time to stitch love into every project. She was best at simple conversation and making those she came into contact with feel listened to and important. Lois was quick to offer an encouraging word, and lived out her faith in these day to day encounters. She never lost her heart to be a care giver and serve others.
