Erma Koppin
Erma C. Koppin age 96 of Anna, Ohio died on December 30, 2016 at Dorothy Love Retirement Community, Sidney, Ohio.
She was born on March 23, 1920 in St. Patrick, Ohio to the late Joseph & Adeline (Pleiman) Carity. She married Raymond "Archie" Koppin on August 23, 1941 in Dayton, Ohio. He preceded her in death on August 3, 1995.
She is survived by children: Carol Thompson, Dayton, James & Betty Koppin, Anna, David & Robyn Koppin, Live Oaks FL, Linda & John Beatty, Madison, Ohio, Susan Fitzhugh, Cambridge, MD, Nancy & Dan McKee, The Plains, Ohio, Gary & Christine Koppin, Sidney, Scott & Tessa Koppin, Anna, Lee Koppin & fiancée Dawn Shafer, Anna, 18 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by daughter Mary Louise, in-laws John Thompson and David Fitzhugh, brothers & sister: Lawrence & Edna Carity, Alfred & Christine Carity, Ed & Betty Carity and Helen & Nelson Lebkisher.
She was a member of Ft. Loramie American Legion Auxiliary.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, McCartyville, Ohio with Rev. Steven Mondiek celebrant. Burial will follow in Pearl Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Sacred Heart Church from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, January 3, and 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM on Wednesday, January 4.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
