Mildred Tangeman
Mildred Mae (Hein) Tangeman, age 92, of Coldwater, died Sunday, January 1, 2017 at her son's home in Minster.
She was born June 14, 1924 in West Carrolton to the late Xavier & Lotus (Roberts) Hein. On October 10, 1944 she married John Dale Tangeman and he died June 11, 2016.
She is survived by five children, Jacquelyn (Jerry) Stumpf of Indianapolis, IN, Frank (Deb) Tangeman of Celina, Rebecca (John) Burnett of Union City, Patricia Smith of Sioux City, IA and Michael (Lorraine) Tangeman of Minster; 15 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; a sister Shirley Larger of Ft. Loramie.
She is preceded in death by brothers Charles & Mildred Hein and Gerald & Fay Hein; and a brother-in-law James Larger.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, a hospital volunteer, a lifelong supporter of Coldwater Schools and in particular the band and football programs and walked the track for many years.
Mildred was a private piano teacher for five decades and was so very proud of her students, and loved to go to any musical concert.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 am Saturday January 7, 2017 at Holy Trinity Church. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 pm on Friday and 9 to 10 am Saturday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
