Pictures and video highlight the 2008 Mercer County Fair. Events include the beef show, cheer competition, Friday night demolition derby, horseshoe pitching tournament, high school marching band show, nursing home day, diaper derby, harness racing, queen and king contest, swine show, showmanship, tractor pull, and veterans ceremony. Music is from the Parkway High School Marching Band's performance Wednesday night.

Areas of fog, including some patchy dense fog will linger into the early afternoon hours before some improvement is expected. Numerous observation sites continue to show visibilities of one mile or less.
