Smoke from wildfires in Canada has caused a haze in the air in the Grand Lake area for the last couple days. This time-lapse video using data from NOAA shows the plume of near-surface smoke across the contiguous United States with Ohio blanked by some of the heaviest smoke.

As temperatures continue to fall, residual moisture may freeze on roadways. In addition, gusty winds of 25-35 MPH may lead to some snow drifting over roads as well.
Motorists are urged to use caution overnight into Saturday morning.
