Harness racing has been a staple of the Mercer County Fair for generations. The 2010 line up involved three nights of racing around the half-mile oval. Jerry Bollenbacher, Speed Superintendent at the track, explained the basics of harness racing and how the sport is faring locally.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
