An Arctic front will sweep east across the region between 5 AM and 9 AM. A few hours of snow showers and west wind gusts of 35 to 40 mph will occur with the frontal passage. While any accumulations will generally be a half inch or less, some challenging travel conditions may develop given, rapidly changing road conditions and visibilities, strong wind and cold temperatures. These conditions will impact the morning commute. Use caution and allow for extra time to reach your destination.

* IMPACTS...The cold wind chills could result in hypothermia if precautions are not taken. Wind chill values can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure.

Danny Eastridge
Danny E. Eastridge, 59, of New Weston, died July 8, 2006, in Greenville. Cause of death is undetermined pending an autopsy.
He was born Nov. 19, 1946, in Piqua, to John E. and Betty J. Heck Eastridge, who are deceased. On June 26, 1971, he married Jean McEldowney, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Mike, New Weston; two daughters, Angie (Jon) Jones, New Weston, and Becky Eastridge, Ansonia; a sister, Connie (Luke) Stachler, Versailles; and two grandsons.
Deceased is a grandchild.
He worked at Witt Plastics, Greenville, and played bass guitar with the Cymbolics for 25 years and for 15 years with the Tin Snips. He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Sharpsburg, and the Knights of Columbus Council 1796, Greenville.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Charles F. Mullen officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Calling is 5-8 p.m. Thursday at Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home, Greenville, with a prayer service at 4:45 p.m. and Rosary recitation at 7:45 by the Knights of Columbus.
Contributions can be made to the Mississinawa Valley High School Band or the Ansonia High School Band.
