An Arctic front will sweep east across the region between 5 AM and 9 AM. A few hours of snow showers and west wind gusts of 35 to 40 mph will occur with the frontal passage. While any accumulations will generally be a half inch or less, some challenging travel conditions may develop given, rapidly changing road conditions and visibilities, strong wind and cold temperatures. These conditions will impact the morning commute. Use caution and allow for extra time to reach your destination.

* WHERE...Portions of east central Indiana and central and west central Ohio.
* WHEN...From 7 AM this morning to 10 AM EST Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...The cold wind chills could result in hypothermia if precautions are not taken. Wind chill values can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure.

Paul Jones
Paul D. Jones, 65, 7566 state Route 705, New Weston, died at 10:30 a.m. July 11, 2006, at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy. Cause of death was natural.
He was born April 1, 1941, in New Weston, to Helen Jones. On May 5, 1962, he married Irene A. Nieport, who survives.
Also surviving are four sons, Gary (Staci), New Bremen, Dean (Cheryl), Forrest, David (Krista), Versailles, and Ted (Jenny), of Troy; two daughters, Diana (Jay) Heitkamp, Minster, and Rosanne (Mike) Ridinger, Columbus Grove; and 19 grandchildren.
Deceased are infant twin daughters.
He was a farmer and worked construction. He was a member of the St. Louis Catholic Church, North Star, and American Legion Post 174, North Star.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church the Rev. David Zink officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Thursday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster, and 9-10 a.m. Friday at the church.
