A three-month investigation into thefts of large-screen televisions from the Wal-Mart Supercenter in Celina has been completed with the arrest of two men in Fort Wayne, Ind., and a woman in Louisiana.
Darren Valens, 32, currently of Fort Wayne and formerly of Holbrook, N.Y., is being held in Indiana, on a warrant filed by the Celina Police Department. The two counts of theft stem from incidents occurring locally Nov. 17 and Dec. 13. [More]

MARIA STEIN - The Coldwater Cavaliers certainly didn't start fast Friday night at the Hangar, but they scored in a flurry when they needed to in pinning a 49-42 loss on the Marion Local Flyers.
Coldwater moved its season record over the .500 mark at 8-7 and evened up its Midwest Athletic Conference slate at 3-3, while Marion fell to 6-6 on the year and 3-3 in the league. [More]

ST. HENRY - The St. Henry Redskins used a red-hot second half of shooting from all points on the floor to pull away and rout the Minster Wildcats, 73-47, in Midwest Athletic Conference action from the St. Henry Middle School on Friday night.
With the win, St. Henry improves to 4-2 in conference play and 9-6 overall while Minster falls to 3-3 in the league and 8-8 overall. [More]
