COLDWATER - The Coldwater Cavaliers used a stingy defense and just enough offense down the stretch to defeat the Parkway Panthers 34-32 Thursday night in the Midwest Athletic Conference opener for both teams at The Palace.

Six Celina area churches are pooling resources to present a first-ever live nativity performance at the Mercer County Fairgrounds in Celina from 6-9 p.m. Dec. 8 and 9.
A strong defensive effort helped Celina start Western Buckeye League play with a win as the Green and White defeated Defiance, 46-33, at the Fieldhouse on Thursday night.
