Snow showers to continue this morning. Slick spots on area roads will be possible this morning with temperatures below freezing. Motorists can expect rapid changes in visibility when encountering some of the heavier snow showers. Northwest winds gusting up to 30 mph will add to the travel impacts due to blowing and drifting snow.
Roadways may become slick. If traveling, be alert, slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.

Isabelle Goffena
Isabelle M. "Isie" Goffena, 94, of Versailles died at 6:40 a.m. May 21, 2008, at the Versailles Health Care Center.
She was born May 9, 1914, in Newport to Louis and Eulalie "Lottie" Smith Cramer. On Sept. 22, 1934, she married Ralph L. Goffena, who died Sept. 3, 1975.
Survivors are a son, Larry (Barb), Coldwater; a daughter, Sharon (George) Treon, Versailles; a sister, Betty (Lewis) Kremer, Versailles; a sister-in-law, Nettie Cramer of Virginia; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Deceased are six brothers, James, John and Joe Cramer and Bernard, Bob and Earl "Skeeter" Marchal; three sisters, Bertha Apple, Vinnie Buxton and an infant, Mary Catherine; and a great-granddaughter.
She worked at the former Buckeye Overall Company, Versailles, as a seamstress from 1929 to 1937. She and her husband owned and operated the Red Ball Garage on state Route 127 from 1937 to 1965. She was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church, Versailles, and the Daughters of Isabella of the church. She was a former member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary, Greenville.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. David Vincent officiating. Burial is at Holy Family Catholic Church Cemetery, Frenchtown.
Calling is 4-7 p.m. Friday and 9-10 a.m. Saturday at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home, Versailles, where a prayer service will be held by the Daughters of Isabella.
