Snow showers to continue this morning. Slick spots on area roads will be possible this morning with temperatures below freezing. Motorists can expect rapid changes in visibility when encountering some of the heavier snow showers. Northwest winds gusting up to 30 mph will add to the travel impacts due to blowing and drifting snow. Roadways may become slick. If traveling, be alert, slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.
Coldwater schools Athletic Director Eric Goodwin calls a new costly coaching test required by the state "absolutely crazy."
Both Goodwin and New Bremen schools Athletic Director Gary Jones said they don't know how their departments are going to pay for the test, which could cost up to $65 per coach, depending if taken online or with an instructor. [More]

Goal is to lessen sediment buildup at bridge, state Rt. 118
A 200-foot-long sediment trap will be built on the Wabash River just east of the Dull Road bridge in an effort to keep sediment from filling in at the bridge and state Route 118.
The Minster boys golf team had a better shooting day on Saturday than it did on Friday, but was unable to move up the ladder, finishing fourth at the Division III state golf tournament held at the TPC at Foxfire in Lockbourne.
