The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Albert Boos
Albert Henry Boos, 88, of Coldwater, died at 8:17 a.m. Oct. 24, 2009.
He was born Aug. 21, 1921, in Dayton to Henry and Olga Hansen Boos. His wife of 62 years, Patricia Rhodes Boos, survives in Coldwater.
Other survivors are a son, Richard Boos, Celina; a daughter, Margaret Boos, Coldwater; a daughter-in-law, Lana (Wood) Boos, St. Marys; a brother William (Nettie) Boos, Beavercreek; a sister, Alice (Grayson) Rudy, Centerville; two sisters-in-law, Marilou Slouffman, Dayton and Ruth Ann Kinney, Beavercreek; four grandchildren and three great-grandchilden.
He was a 30-year retiree in public health, past- president of the board of director's of the State Public Retirees, Inc., past-president of P.E.R.I. of Mercer County, past member of the Coldwater Village Council, American Legion, Coldwater and the Disabled American Veterans. He was a Mercer County, D.A.R.E. officer in Celina, and a member of the Riverview Lodge Free and Accepted Masons. He graduated from Beavercreek High School and was a veteran of World War II serving in the European Theater, where he was the recipient of the purple heart. He was a member of the Fort Recovery First Church of Christ.
Services are 1 p.m. Wednesday at Tobias Funeral Home-Beavercreek Chapel, the Rev. Dave Napier officiating. Burial is at Mt. Zion Shoup Cemetery.
