Sandra Figley
Sandra J. Figley, 53, of Van Wert died 8 a.m., Oct. 24, 2009, in her home. Death was due to cancer.
She was born May 27, 1956, in Van Wert to Frank B. and Arlene Palmer Hoffman. Her father Frank B. and Linda Hoffman and her mother Arlene Hoffman all survive in Van Wert. On May 1, 1981, she married Keith L. Figley who survives in Van Wert.
Other survivors are two sons, Joshua (Amy) Fabian, Montrose, Colo., and Timothy "T.J." (Sumer) Figley, Van Wert; a daughter, Sherry Fabian, Convoy; a stepson, Dustin (Julie) Figley, Van Wert, a stepdaughter, Lori Andrews, Geneva, Ind.; two brothers, Frank W. (Barbara) Hoffman, Van Wert and Rodger D. (Cathy) Hoffman, Little Torch, Fla.; two sisters, Teresa Klahn, Loveland, Colo. and Lori (Rocky) McVaigh, Van Wert; a father-in-law, LeDoyle "Farmer" Figley, Rockford; five grandchildren and five stepgrandchildren.
She was a homemaker and had worked in the office at Aeroquip.
Private family services will be held in St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Van Wert, the Rev. Will Higgins officiating.
No public visiting hours are planned.
Contributions can be made to Community Health Professional Visiting Nurses and Hospice.
Arrangements are by Bayliff and Son Funeral Home, Cridersville.
