Diane Burke
Diane J. Burke, 48, 442 Linn St., St. Henry, died at 7:30 a.m. May 31, 2010, at her home following a one-year illness.
She was born July 17, 1961, in Union City, Ind., to Jerome W. and Joan C. Brunswick Kaiser. Her mother survives in Coldwater. On Sept. 22, 1984, she married Michael Burke, who also survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Aaron Burke, Kettering, and Nathan Burke, at home; a daughter, Megan Burke, at home; three brothers, Duane (Marian) Kaiser, El Paso, Texas, and Roger (Brenda) Kaiser and Brian Kaiser, all of Coldwater; two sisters, Janet Ryan, Centerville, and Linda (Jack) Heitkamp, St. Henry; and a father- and mother-in-law, Pete and Marilyn Burke, St. Marys.
She was a kindergarten teacher at Fort Recovery Local Schools. She was a 1979 graduate of Fort Recovery High School and a graduate of the University of Dayton, where she received a bachelors and masters degree in education. She was a member of the St. Henry Catholic Church.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Benedict Magabe officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-9:45 a.m. Friday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home in Fort Recovery.
