Betty Hague
Betty J. Hague, 82, formerly of St. Marys, died at 6:33 a.m. May 29, 2010, at Celina Manor Nursing Home.
She was born March 5, 1928, in St. Marys, to Lawrence and Lula Miller Fisher. On Nov. 25, 1948, she married Charles James Hague, who died in April 1996.
Surviving are three sons, James Hague, Celina, Steven (Marge Gehm) Hague, Mendon, and Scott (Anna) Hague, St. Marys; a daughter, Deborah Kay (David) Ware, Austin, Texas; two sisters, Naomi Longsworth, St. Marys, and Maxine Gause, Newark; a former daughter-in-law, Susan Hague, Celina; 17 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
Deceased is a brother, Dan "Junior" Fisher; and an infant sister, Pauline Fisher.
She worked as a janitor for St. Mary City Schools and did housekeeping for many years. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Independent Baptist Church in Minster, and the Eagles Lodge Aerie #767 Auxiliary in St. Marys.
Services are 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Miller-Long & Folk Funeral Home in St. Marys, the Rev. Tony Richmond officiating. Burial is at Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.
Calling is 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
