Thelma Masters

Thelma T. Masters, 77, Fort Recovery, died at 8:12 a.m. May 29, 2010, at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Ind.

She was born Sept. 24, 1932, in Portland, Ind., to Marvin and Lula Lawson Adair. On Aug. 29, 1960, she married Bobby L. Masters, who died Nov. 7, 2001.

Surviving are two daughters, Frances (Rob) Langenkamp Jr., Portland, Ind., and Jackie (Doug) Gaier, Piqua; three brothers, Donald (Harriet) Adair, Duane (Judy) Adair, and Vernon Adair, all of Portland, Ind.; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Deceased are three brothers, Lee, Dale and Butch Adair; and one sister, Mabel.

She worked at the former VonderHaars Market in Fort Recovery.

Funeral services were 11 a.m. today at St. Marys Cemetery in Fort Recovery, the Rev. Verl Ballmer officiating. Burial was at the cemetery.

Memorials can be made to the Ball Memorial Hospital Cancer Center in Muncie, Ind.
