Raymond Zanglin
Raymond E. "Ric" Zanglin, 52, Decatur, Ind., died at 3:30 p.m. May 29, 2010, at his home following an extended illness.
He was born Dec. 14, 1957, in Coldwater, to Louis R. and Patricia A. McKenna Zanglin. His mother survives in Celina; his father is deceased. On April 9, 1983, he married Madeline A. Robinson, who survives in Decatur, Ind.
Also surviving are a daughter, Courtney Zanglin, Decatur; a son, Wesley Zanglin, Decatur; a sister, Patrice (John) Link, Tipp City; two brothers, Lt. Col. Paul (Lisa) Zanglin, Montgomery, Ala., and David (Dianna) Zanglin, Cleveland; a mother-in-law, Robin Foster Williams, Decatur, Ind.; and a grandson.
Deceased is an infant brother, Michael Zanglin.
He worked at Glenbrook Dodge, Chrysler & Jeep Automotive Group in Fort Wayne in sales management. He attended Immaculate Conception School in Celina and graduated from the Gillmore Academy High School in Gates Mills. He attended Xavier University in Cincinnati. He was a member of Moose Lodge in Celina and former member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina.
Funeral services are 2 p.m. Thursday at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home in Decatur, the Rev. Kevin August officiating. Burial is at Decatur Cemetery.
Calling is 2-4 and 5-8 p.m. Wednesday and 1-2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorials can be made to Family Hospice and Palliative Care Hospice in Berne, Ind.
