Ella Mae Barga, 87, of Union City, died Nov. 20, 2013, at Wayne Hospital, Greenville.

She was born June 17, 1926, in Darke County, to Julius and Amelia Dorsten Mestemaker. Her husband, Ivan Barga, preceded her in death in 2008.

Surviving are her children, Gary (Jane) Barga, Union City, Ind., Carol (Steve) Pestke, Dayton, Christa (Dave) Wendel, Portland, Ind., Janette (Randy) Minch, Bluffton, Ind., Cynthia (Bill) Linder, Union City, and Jerry (Leigh Ann) Barga, Farmland, Ind.; nine grandchildren, Kim Burkholder, Karla Hall, Eric Barga, Stephanie (Quintin) Jones, Amanda Minch, Emilie Linder, Kyle (Megan) Linder, Bracken Barga and Jordyn Barga; six great-grandchildren; and siblings, Anna Rita Heckler, Celina, Ruth C. Twaits, Greenville, Ruth Jean (Louie) Schoenlein, Portland, and Paul (Mary) Mestemaker, New Weston.

Deceased is a brother, Alvin Mestemaker.

She was a homemaker and member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Union City, Ind., and its Rosary and Altar Society, Ladies of Charity and the American Legion Auxiliary #345, Fort Recovery.

Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary Catholic Church, the Rev. Christopher Roberts officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.
