Rosella R. (Klosterman) Kessler, 87, Celina, passed away peacefully with her family nearby at 3:10 p.m. Nov. 20, 2013, at her daughter's residence in Celina.

She was born Sept. 6, 1926, in Celina, to Aloys and Agnes (Gillig) Klosterman. On June 16, 1949, she married Carl "Friday" Kessler, who died Jan. 26, 1981.

Survivors include her three daughters, Marie (Vernon) Eichler, Celina, Kathleen (Dick) Denning, Celina, and Marlene (Steven) Sommer, Celina; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Cyril (Ann) Klosterman, Beavercreek, and Judge Mark (Diane) Klosterman, Celina; seven grandchildren, Christopher Eichler, Phoenix, Ariz., Katie (Brent) Smith, Gahanna, Laura Denning, Washington, D.C., Philip (Katelyn) Denning, Cincinnati, Andrew Sommer, Celina, Alyssa Sommer, Washington, D.C., and Kale Menchhofer, Celina; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are two daughters, Patrice Menchhofer and Mary Kessler.

She was a graduate of Immaculate Conception Catholic High School, Celina, and a life member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Celina, and its Altar Rosary Sodality. She was formerly employed at J.C. Penny Company, Mercer County Courthouse and Sears.

Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, the Rev. Angelo Caserta officiating. Burial will follow at St. Marys Catholic Cemetery, Celina.

Calling is 2-6 p.m. Sunday and 9-10 a.m. Monday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Association of Mercer County or Community Health Professionals, both of Celina.
