Wilma Dues
Wilma H. Dues, 91, Philothea, died at 1:51 a.m. Nov. 21, 2013, at Briarwood Village, Coldwater.
She was born Sept. 6, 1922, in St. Henry, to Louis and Anna Selhorst Lange. On Oct. 25, 1944, she married Sylvester Dues, who died Nov. 2, 2003.
Surviving are 10 children, Jane (Tom) Laux, St. Henry, Doris (Lavaughn) Muhlenkamp, Trinity, Ind., Berne (Ron) Gross, St. Henry, Henry Dues, Van Wert, Lucy (Dave) Rindler, St. Henry, Sandy Grieshop, Celina, Sam (Cindy) Dues, Philothea, Marie (Don) Weitzel, St. Henry, Marvin Dues, Rossburg, and Nick Dues, Albuquerque, N.M.; a daughter-in-law, Rose Dues, Philothea; 27 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; sisters, Rita Schroer, Fort Recovery, and Frances (Lawrence) Gehret, Fort Loramie; brothers, Cyril (Margie) Lange, Fort Loramie, Leroy (Ilene) Lange, St. Henry, Gene Lange, St. Henry, Clete (Edna) Lange, St. Henry, and Louis (Martha) Lange, Wapakoneta; and sister-in-law, Sally Lange, Celina.
Deceased is a grandson; sisters, Marie and Albert Pottkotter, Cleo and Ralph Strete, and Sr. Agnes Lange; a brother, Elmer Lange; in-laws, Joe Schroer, Roman and Alvina Dues, Clarence and Hilda Dues, and Mary and Frank "Bud" Dillhoff.
She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Philothea, and its Rosary Altar Sodality, and the Daughters of Isabella, St. Henry. She was a 1941 graduate of St. Henry High School.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Mary Catholic Church, Philothea. Burial is at St. Mary Cemetery, Philothea.
Calling is 1-7 p.m. Sunday and 9-10 a.m. Monday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
