Marjorie A. Rethman, 74, Yorkshire, died at 4 a.m. Nov. 20, 2013, at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton.

She was born Oct. 16, 1939, in St. Henry, to Ralph and Alfreda Siefring Rose. Her mother survives in St. Henry. On April 28, 1962, she married Leonard G. Rethman, who survives.

Also surviving are her children, June (Alan) Rindler, Versailles, Nick (Linda) Rethman, North Andover, Mass., Joyce (Bob) Ahrens, Versailles, and Brenda (Mike) Pope, Villa Hills, Ky.; 12 grandchildren, Pete and Laura Bohman, Kati Bohman, Alanya Rindler, Catalina Rethman, Martina Rethman, Ben Ahrens, Jessica Ahrens, Madison Ahrens, Zachary Ahrens, Maria Pope, Natalie Pope and Teresa Pope; brothers and sisters, Thelma (Dennis) Brackman, Centerville, Wilma (Bob) Edmondson, Toronto, Canada, Betty (Denny) Kugler, Laura, Dot (Gary) Aho, Golden, Colo., Dennis (Sally) Rose, Fairfield, and Linda (Gary) Stelzer, Coldwater; and a sister-in-law, Eileen (Eugene) Mescher, North Star.

She was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Osgood, and St. Barbara's Ladies Sodality. She was a homemaker and worked on the family farm with her husband.

Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, the Rev. David Zink officiating. Burial is at St. Martin Cemetery, Osgood.

Calling is 1-6 p.m. Sunday and 9-10 a.m. Monday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
