Marian Crouse
Marian L. Crouse, 93, formerly of St. Marys, OH died 5:30 p.m. Monday May 8, 2017 at Auglaize Acres Nursing Home in Wapakoneta, OH.
She was born June 6, 1923 in Detroit, MI to Oliver and Effie (Robinson) Abbott. On July 18, 1943 in St. Marys, OH she married Richard P. Crouse, who died November 13, 2012.
She is survived by: daughter Janet Schmidt of St. Marys, OH; son Larry (Penny) Crouse of St. Marys, OH; 4 grandchildren: Susan (Rich) Spencer of St. Marys; Theresa (Steven) Ogier of Sanford, FL; DeWayne Walker of St. Marys, OH; Denise (Bill) Jones of Chicago, IL; 9 great-grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by: parents Oliver and Effie Abbott; husband Richard Crouse; son Paul Crouse.
She was a graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School. She was a homemaker. Her favorite pastimes included making crafts, sewing and painting ceramics.
Graveside services are scheduled to begin 11:30 a.m. Saturday May 13, 2017 at Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.
