Scattered snow showers will become more widespread through this afternoon and then likely linger into this evening before tapering off.
The snow showers will be capable of causing brief periods of reduced visibilities, especially this afternoon. In addition, brisk conditions will prevail with west winds gusting in the 30 to 40 mph range today.
Light snow accumulations will be possible, mainly on grassy and elevated surfaces. While roads will remain mostly wet during the daytime hours, some slick spots may develop toward sunset as temperatures begin to drop below freezing.
Please be prepared for the changing weather conditions today and the potential for reduced visibilities when driving.

Alfrieda Jutte
Alfrieda M. Jutte, 90, of The Gardens at Celina, died at 1:17 a.m. April 25, 2010, at Mercer County Community Hospital in Coldwater.
She was born March 21, 1920, in Coldwater to Joseph and Elizabeth Pleiman Hoyng. On Aug. 27, 1946, she married Joseph W. Jutte, who died in 1991.
Surviving are three children, Virginia (James) Chesser, Celina, Gloria (William) Rogers, Coldwater, and Nicholas (Debbie) Jutte, Celina; two sisters-in-laws, Gloria, Fort Wayne, Ind., and Rita, Fort Recovery; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are three brothers; and a grandson.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, and its St. Ann's Rosary Altar Sodality.
Funeral Mass is 2 p.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Richard Walling officiating. Burial is at St. Elizabeth Cemetery in Coldwater.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and 12:30-1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.
Contributions can be made to State of the Heart Hospice in Coldwater.
